A faultless early MK1 British Hacker Centurion record player with original Hacker speakers, and home made Hacker matching teak stand which copies the original. It has a built in input sockets to side that can serve as an auxiliary for other devices such as CD or MiniDisc or an internet radio for instance. The chosen input is selected from switches on the front panel. This Hacker is faultless in use and sounds incredible. It has a beautiful and rich musicality capable of filling any size room with a high quality of sound. The original Garrard SP25 MKIII record player works without fault, it tracks the record perfectly both queuing and returning without hesitation and accurately in automatic and can be used in manual mode too. The clean white fascia with black detailing really looks stunning and is in excellent condition. The chrome switches are in excellent condition. The teak veneer shows its age but is in very good order and can be polished to look fabulous. The Hacker speakers are in good condition for their age there is a little wear to the lower part of the mesh.
Complete with all wiring just plug in and go! There will be good and bad Hifi available on the second hand market. I only deal with items I know to be well designed and that also have had long term careful ownership and also have been clearly appreciated and well looked after.
This particular Hacker Centurion came from a local household in Cambridge after being cherished for many years by its previous owner.
